Collection of Vessels displayed at Manningham Art Gallery.

The collection is centered around an ongoing theme of foraging.

Ever since I was young I would pick little bits of flora along my daily travels, whether it was flowers or foliage and was constantly looking for something to house these little pickings.

When I was a little bit older I came upon some old metal flower frogs in an antique store and was immediately drawn to them. I later found out they were Japanese Kenzan.

Over the years I have amassed quite a collection of flower frogs and have always been inspired by their quiet utilitarian beauty.

These Rockpool Vessels are some pieces I've been working on recently and are inspired by the quiet beauty of flower frogs
